Hasedera’s hydrangea path has 2500 flowers from over 40 different kinds which attract a great number of visitors during the blooming season. They are planted alongside 130 steps on a scenic mountain route.
Since the path is narrow, we may control the entrance to the Hydrangea Path when it is overcrowded. You can still visit other sites in the temple regardless.
① Numbered tickets for the Hydrangea Path will be distributed at the main gate (one ticket per person) when the path is busy.
② You cannot enter the Hydrangea Path until your number is called.
Re-entering the Hasedera temple is allowed by 5 p.m. on the same day of your visit, if you have both your admission ticket and numbered ticket.
③ Distributing the numbered tickets for the Hydrangea Path may finish at 3 p.m., depending on demand.
This restriction is only subject to entering the Hydrangea Path. You are able to visit other sites in the temple without a numbered ticket or waiting time.
